During this entire shoot the model was constantly moving and there were no two shots are alike. The shoot lasted only about 20 minutes because she needed to go to work.

Comments welcome :)

Great shot. Such an unusual idea for a portrait. The concept is fantastic and the title works perfectly.

The pose, shadowed expression, the finger prints on the sand.
Definetly a favorite.

i love the tones here and how it is a pretty simple shot when you first look at it... but then little details pop out at you.

You can almost see the look on her face and it looks wild.. and as if she doesn't notice anyone around her.. she is in her own world.
Her messy hair adds to this.

Then you notice all the 'scratch' marks in the sand around her.. as if she's been desperately trying to grasp at some unknown thing.. or just trashing because she is somehow tormented.

The waves/ripples in the sand fade away as they slope down the hill she seems to be crawling up... maybe she is trying to escape from sliding down and fading away with them....

I love pieces that make me think and analyze rather than just go "oh yeah that's pretty" so bravo :D

I love the strange pose of the model (although it isn't exactly a pose if she was constantly moving, but hey), this one perfect... everything is great, from the pose to the facial expression... I also like a lot the shadow that her shoulder casts on her side, giving the illusion of another twist by her body.

superb, really  a favourite for sure !!!!!

My first thought was this is a screwy shot.... then it grabbed my and would not let go. The light play on her body and the sand. The footprint in the sand. The texture ripples in the sand. The odd pose. Must stop .... mouse ... click ... from ... arrrgh.... +fav :-)
